I have an exciting new opportunity available for sports fan with a mind for tech.
My client is looking for an enthusiastic individual to install and integrate broadcasting equipment for some of the world's biggest sporting events!
Their ideal candidate is a young individual, passionate about sports with fluency in both German and English.
You would be working with a team of skilled professionals, responsible for:
- Working within a sports production team on various sporting events throughout the year (International, Champions and Premier League football, Rugby, Cricket and more)
- Operating virtual reality systems, as well as making or playing analysis clips during live Rugby and Football matches
- Working with sports pundits and producers to create analysis graphics during sports productions
- Operating various virtual reality systems and EVS replay systems within live broadcasts
- Preparing and maintaining broadcast equipment within the hire department of the business
Ideal candidates will thrive in this active and unique role, involving:
- Travelling up and down the country to sports stadiums
- Being extremely punctual
- Being able to set up technical equipment and operate systems under pressure and within time constraints
- Work to a flexible schedule, with long hours at times involving big blocks when covering a tournament
This position offers extensive training in all aspects of the job and ensures that you gain knowledge from shadowing other established operators before going on site.
A full UK driving license and access to a car is essential for this role.
