Senior Property Manager - Primary Care Estates
Salary: Senior Management/Competitive
Location: London/Hybrid

My client is looking for a senior Estates/Property management professional who has specialist knowledge within LIFTCo and PFI related to Healthcare Estates. This individual will work both in an operational and strategic role for the organisation.

Overview of the Role:
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will lead, manage and be fully accountable for the overall performance of the LIFTCo and their subsidiaries in full compliance with the service agreements in place including:
  • Developing relationships with stakeholders to improve utilisation/engage with Health System to develop innovative solutions;
  • Support local healthcare stakeholders through delivery of partnering services;
  • Management of LIFTCo and its associated affairs as directed by the Executive Board, including the delivery of organisational strategic and business objectives;
  • Ensure all LIFTCo risks are properly understood with all mitigating actions implemented as necessary;
  • Manage any Claims or Disputes in line with the Project Agreements, identify and appoint any experts required;
  • Ensure effective communication with all relevant stakeholders and that their needs are understood and regularly reviewed throughout the concession to satisfy their communication needs;
  • Prepare the Quarterly Board Report to include a detailed review of Health & Safety performance, Hard FM performance, Financial performance, Statutory and Contract Compliance, Defect progress, Stakeholder Engagement, ESG and Business Development activities;
  • Produce Board Approval papers as necessary and report to the Board outside of regular Board meetings when required;
Ideal Candidate:
  • Educated to Degree level within an Estates, Property, Building Services discipline; ideally hold additional membership within this specialist field;
  • Has in-depth knowledge of healthcare related Estates environments, including a political understanding of the future of NHS and wider public sector strategic estates plans;
  • Must have experience within a senior level PFI/PPP role previously, ideally related to LIFTCo and understand complex contract interpretations and implementations;
  • Employ effective management of internal and external relationships using tact, persuasion and teamwork;
  • Has the ability to effectively communicate routine and non-routine information clearly so that the recipient can understand and act upon it as required;
  • Holds operational management experience in a changing and challenging environment.
