Assistant Building Manager

Hexagon Group have the pleasure of working with an established property management company who have an exciting requirement for an Assistant Building Manager to be based at a multi-tenanted office building in Central London. The building is home to a variety of notable occupiers, and has over 100,000sqft of lettable office space. Our client is keen to hire an experienced Assistant Building Manager who aspires to be promoted to a Building Manager in the next 12 - 18 months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a key point of contact for any tenant queries
  • Completing health & safety reports and responding to any health & safety issues that may arise.
  • Supervising on-site service partners
  • Ensure the PPM schedule requirements are undertaken, and reactive works are dealt with promptly.
  • Supporting the Building Manager with the production and management of the service charge budget
  • Launching tenant engagement activities and communicating these throughout the building.
  • Deputising for the Building Manager when they are absent.

Ideally you will have previous experience working within the property management field, ideally this will be working within a multi-tenanted commercial building. In addition, if you hold an industry recognised certificate such as an IOSH certificate, this may put you at an advantage along with being able to demonstrate an understanding of service charge budgets.
