Caretaker

Our client prides themselves on maintaining safe, clean, and welcoming residential communities. We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Residential Building Caretaker to join their team and help them uphold their commitment to excellence.

Position Overview:As a Residential Building Caretaker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of the residential properties. You will be responsible for a range of maintenance tasks, tenant relations, and property management activities, contributing to a positive living environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning common areas, landscaping, and minor repairs.
• Assist with tenant requests and inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and supplies.
• Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs and services.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts.
• Assist with emergency response procedures when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in building maintenance or property management preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems is a plus.
• Availability for on-call emergencies and flexible hours as needed.
