Academics are currently working with this fantastic Primary school in Westminster to recruit an experienced School Caretaker to join their team from January.
This School Caretaker role is a part time, Monday to Friday role 4 hours a day. 11am to 3pm. The role will need a minimum commitment of January to July 2025 and the opportunity to become permanent. There will be additional overtime during the school year to support with events.
This role will include
- Ensuring the school is clean, safe. Manage waste and performing general maintenance
- Insuring the school is secure and reporting any defects
- Support and assisting with delivery of goods to the site
- Daily and Weekly checks of the school buildings and playground
- Ensure Health & Safety policies are being adhered too and complete regular checks
- Event Support - Setting up assemblies, classrooms and events as required
- Admin duties such as maintaining maintenance records & supplies
You will need;
- A good level of fitness
- Be able to work independently and handle emergencies
- Have practical DIY and basic technical skills
- To have a good understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies
