We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Site Services Officer/Premises Assistant/Caretaker to join our client's team, ensuring the security and maintenance of the school premises. The successful candidate will liaise daily with the Site Manager/Site Services Officer on caretaking issues to maintain a clean, tidy, maintained and welcoming learning environment.
Day to Day of the role:- Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks to maintain the internal and external fabric of the school.
- Oversee the collection and disposal of waste.
- Undertake general cleaning duties, including emergency cleaning as needed.
- Liaise with contractors and suppliers, ensuring the smooth operation of school facilities.
- Porterage, room set ups, receiving deliveries, classroom moves
- Litter picking, sweeping up leaves, emptying bins
- Experience in a caretaking or facilities role, preferably within an educational setting.
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a team.
- Good communication skills to liaise with both internal and external contacts.
