Day-to-day of the role:

Conduct regular routine inspections of the buildings and grounds, documenting findings and promptly reporting any issues to the Site Manager.
Maintain the cleanliness of the playground, paths, and fire escapes, and manage the disposal of litter and waste in outdoor bins.
Operate and maintain school utilities and perform minor repairs as needed.
Report any health and safety concerns or defects to the Site Manager.
Ensure fire safety equipment is serviceable and in proper condition.
Handle the security of the school premises, including locking/unlocking gates and doors.
Act as a main key holder, managing the secure storage and distribution of school keys.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience within a 'hands on' similar role or relevant qualifications
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Willingness to undergo enhanced DBS clearance.
