We are currently recruiting for Caretakers based in Lewisham on a temporary contract
This is a static role maintaining communal spaces in tower blocks - offering £18.19 umbrella ph
Key Responsibilities:
- Regular cleaning and upkeep of communal areas, including stairwells, hallways, and bin stores.
- Carrying out basic repairs and reporting maintenance issues to the appropriate team.
- Ensuring health and safety regulations are followed, including fire safety checks.
- Managing waste disposal and ensuring bin areas are kept tidy.
- Liaising with residents, contractors, and housing officers to address any issues.
- Conducting inspections to identify any potential hazards or necessary improvements.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a caretaker, Domestic, facilities, or maintenance role preferred
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for communal spaces
- Good communication skills to interact with residents and colleagues.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations.
