We are currently recruiting for dedicated Caretakers to work with a Local Authority based in Lewisham

This is a static role maintaining communal spaces in tower blocks - offering £18.19 umbrella ph

Key Responsibilities:
  • Regular cleaning and upkeep of communal areas, including stairwells, hallways, and bin stores.
  • Carrying out basic repairs and reporting maintenance issues to the appropriate team.
  • Ensuring health and safety regulations are followed, including fire safety checks.
  • Managing waste disposal and ensuring bin areas are kept tidy.
  • Liaising with residents, contractors, and housing officers to address any issues.
  • Conducting inspections to identify any potential hazards or necessary improvements.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a caretaker, Domestic, facilities, or maintenance role preferred
  • Ability to work independently and take responsibility for communal spaces
  • Good communication skills to interact with residents and colleagues.
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations.
