Facilities Assistant, Architectural firm, Permanent, Central London, £27,400

Our client, a renowned Architectural firm, requires a Facilities Assistant to start ASAP. Working shifts of either 8:00am-5:00pm or 9:00am-6:00pm you will be part of a sociable and friendly team of 4.

Working as a part of the Facilities Team, the main duties of the Facilities Assistant role are:

  • Health & Safety and maintenance walk round, checking for issues and reporting back
  • Using the online ticketing system to log requests
  • Carrying out minor office repairs
  • Maintain, order and distribute office supplies such as milk, fruit and stationery
  • Setting up meeting rooms
  • Assisting with the operations of meeting rooms
  • Daily replenishment of paper and consumables in all printers
  • Tackle any printer issues
  • Purchasing items on behalf of the team as required
  • Assist with office storage on and off site including models and archiving
  • Assist with staff desk moves and setup
  • Carry out work experience inductions and DSE assessments

The successful candidate will be educated to 'GCSE’ Level standard or equivalent (including passes in Maths and English)

Experience working in an office environment or in customer service is preferred.

You need to be motivated and positive, with a 'can-do’ attitude, a team player who is approachable and fair minded - reliable with good communication skills.

You need to have the ability to follow set tasks, using initiative when required. MS Office knowledge is required.
