Experienced, professional and proactive Live in Building Manager required at this private residential block in Chelsea. The main purpose of the job is to keep the block and its surrounds, in a high standard of appearance and operation and provide a welcoming environment for the residents. Duties will include manning the front desk to ensure that security is kept at the utmost, being courteous and helpful to all residents, as well as members of the public, staff and contractors, ensuring that health and safety requirements and maintained, building patrols (reporting all issues to the Managing Agent), being familiar with the day-to-day operations of all plant and equipment serving the common parts of the development, overseeing the in-house cleaning staff and ensuring cleaning duties are performed to required level, participating in meetings with Clients and/or its respective Board members as required/directed, and overseeing the operation of all service contracts relating to the estate and liaising with the Managing Agents with regards to their effectiveness. The ideal candidate must have exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, be IT literate, have excellent communication skills, be able to maintain a level head under pressure, and be brimming with initiative.
