Role Overview:As a Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of maintenance tasks across various residential and commercial properties. This is a hands-on role that requires a proactive approach to ensure all aspects of maintenance are carried out to the highest standards, in line with the company's commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine and reactive maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, heating, carpentry, and painting.
  • Respond to maintenance requests and emergency repairs promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to residents and tenants.
  • Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify potential issues and carry out preventative maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times, maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance work carried out, including materials used and time spent.
  • Work closely with the property management team to ensure the smooth running of building operations.
  • Liaise with contractors and suppliers as necessary to ensure that works are completed to a high standard and within agreed timeframes.
  • Assist in the upkeep and presentation of communal areas, ensuring they remain clean and well-maintained.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, particularly in relation to health and safety and customer service standards.
