Property Maintenance Operative

I am working with an established property management company, seeking an experienced and qualified Maintenance Operative to support with their ever-growing portfolio of residential properties across London.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of planned and reactive property maintenance tasks, including heating, joinery, tiling, painting, paving, electrical works, drainage works, and plumbing.
  • Conduct planned preventative maintenance according to set schedules.
  • Communicate effectively with building occupants to minimize inconvenience during maintenance activities.
  • Manage and prioritize your workload to ensure timely completion of repairs.
  • Perform regular safety checks on work vehicles, maintaining them in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Adhere to health and safety policies, identify hazards, and conduct point-of-work risk assessments as needed.
  • Ensure health and safety for yourself and others while performing duties, and assist in applying our general health and safety policy.
  • Maintain a customer-focused approach, understanding and meeting customer needs and expectations to provide high-quality, appropriate services.

Qualifications/Experience

  • Multi-trade skills qualification(s) or similar certificates of competence.
  • Full UK Driving License. (Use of your own vehicle and tools are desirable)
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a property maintenance role
