As a School Caretaker, you will play a vital role in maintaining the school's exceptional standards, ensuring a safe, secure, and well-maintained environment for pupils, staff, and visitors. Working within a supportive and professional team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep, security, and general maintenance of the school premises.

? Site Security - Opening & closing the school, securing buildings, setting alarms, and monitoring access to ensure a safe environment.? General Maintenance - Performing minor repairs, decorating, and liaising with contractors for larger works.? Health & Safety Compliance - Conducting routine safety checks (fire alarms, emergency lighting, water testing) and ensuring full compliance with school policies.? Cleaning & Waste Management - Supervising cleaning staff, ensuring pristine school grounds, and managing waste disposal efficiently.? Support for School Events - Assisting with the setup of events, assemblies, and parent evenings.

We are looking for a committed and hands-on professional who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of maintaining a high-caliber environment. The ideal candidate will have:

? Experience in caretaking, facilities management, or a similar role.? Physical fitness, as the role involves manual work and outdoor duties.? Knowledge of health & safety regulations (COSHH, fire safety) - desirable but not essential.? A friendly and approachable demeanor, with a commitment to the school community.
