Temporary Estate Caretaker

Jackson Sims Recuitment is a leading agency that provides on-site staff to luxury residential developments across London and the UK. We are currently recruiting for Temporary Estate Operative / Caretaker staff to cover assignments across various luxury residential apartment buildings in London.

As an Estate Operative / Caretaker, you will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of the estate, ensuring the communal areas and grounds are well-maintained and residents are provided with excellent service.

Location: London (Various Locations)

Salary: £11.44 to £12.00 per hour

Working Hours: Hours may vary

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out general estate cleaning and maintenance tasks, including litter picking, sweeping, and cleaning communal areas such as hallways, stairs, and entryways.
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance, including basic plumbing, electrical checks, and other maintenance tasks as required.
• Assist with the upkeep of gardens, lawns, and green spaces, including mowing, trimming, and planting.
• Ensure communal areas are safe, clean, and in good condition, and report any larger maintenance issues to the management team.
• Manage the estate's waste and recycling systems, ensuring bins are emptied and areas remain tidy.
• Provide residents with a professional, friendly, and helpful presence, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
• Ensure the estate complies with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe environment for residents and visitors.

Essential Requirements:

• Previous experience in a caretaking, estate operative, or maintenance role.
• Flexible to cover Adhoc shifts.
• Practical knowledge of general maintenance tasks and basic repairs.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with residents and team members.
• Good physical fitness to handle manual tasks.
• A proactive and positive approach to work.
