Day to Day of the role:- Carry out a variety of maintenance tasks including bricklaying, basic carpentry, painting, tiling, emergency tarmac repairs, and lifting and relaying slabs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all assigned work.
- Provide support to the mechanical and electrical engineers.
- Report any maintenance or Health & Safety issues promptly.
- Liaise with contractors and carry out site inductions as necessary.
- Proven experience in bricklaying, pointing, and rendering.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to brief sub-contractors effectively.
- A polite and friendly demeanour with a strong team spirit.
- Ability to prioritise workload efficiently.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and some bank holidays, sometimes at short notice.
- Desirable: CSCS card, experience in an event venue or with live events, experience in a listed building, interest in mechanical and electrical engineering, and knowledge of Facilities IT packages (e.g., Tabs).
- Competitive annual salary of £27,352.
