We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team at Reed Professional Services, working closely with our client's Operations and Delivery team. This pivotal role within the Technology function focuses on the Universal Service Obligation (USO) project, contributing to our long-standing history of excellence in delivery services.
Day-to-day of the role:- Lead the facilitation of business workshops to elicit, challenge, develop, and convert business, functional, and non-functional requirements into process/systems solutions considering IT, business, and commercial drivers.
- Ensure all documented requirements are delivered without inconsistency or ambiguity and in a clear, concise, and timely fashion, suitable for handover to the solution delivery teams.
- Maintain requirements acceptance criteria, integrity, and traceability throughout the project lifecycle, working alongside both internal and external suppliers.
- Qualify and quantify business benefits relating to requirements for change and improved business processes, including impact assessment of change requests to scope and requirements.
- Ensure the quality and timeliness of the analysis, requirements, specifications, and acceptance criteria produced, while supporting risk and issue management.
- Demonstrate flexibility and a positive attitude towards the delivery of services in a fast-paced environment with inherent risks and multiple stakeholders with differing views of success.
- Significant experience in delivering Business Analysis within large-scale technology projects which have successfully implemented change into multiple and integrated systems affecting multiple business stakeholders.
- Proficient in business analysis skills, including requirements gathering and engineering, process mapping and modelling, data analysis and modelling, benefits mapping and realization, root cause analysis, and acceptance criteria definition.
- Experienced in using business analysis tools such as Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Jira.
- Thorough understanding and experience in both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
- Excellent presentation skills and the ability to communicate confidently and effectively with colleagues, suppliers, and customers.
- Competence in verbal communication to a broad audience; and excellent, clear, and succinct written communication.
- Persistence and drive to maintain progress and resolve issues.
- Effective stakeholder and people management skills.
- Ability to work autonomously, solution-focused, and highly collaborative.
