An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Analyst / Project Manager to join a Tier 1 Investment Bank in their Markets division. This role sits within a high-impact team working on semi-automated control enhancements, data analysis, and regulatory initiatives across multiple asset classes.

Key Responsibilities:

Investigate and refine control processes, identifying opportunities for automation and improvement
Work closely with traders, business managers, middle office, and risk & control teams
Develop and enhance SQL queries for data analysis and reporting
Lead governance metric preparation and stakeholder presentations
Collaborate with technology teams to define and implement control enhancements

Key Skills & Experience:

Strong analytical skills with experience managing large data sets
SQL proficiency - ability to write queries from scratch
Experience working with Markets businesses and 1LOD controls
Knowledge of regulatory change initiatives (e.g. Dodd Frank, EMIR, MiFID II)
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
