European leading wine grower is looking for a French speaking Financial Analyst to join their team in Central London. This role will support business operations by analysing market trends, sales data, as well as assisting the Finance Manager with management accounting tasks. You will also be responsible for completing and following the application for European Subsidies. As a Business Analyst will you have a proven data analysis experience and strong problem-solving skills, and of course an interest in the wine industry.
ROLE of the Business Analyst:
- Assisting the Finance Manager with management accounting and reporting tasks
- Preparing the application and reports for European Subsidies
- Assisting the Logistic & Distribution Coordinator during busy times and covering the role in their absence
- Gathering, analysing, and interpreting sales, and financial data to support business decisions.
- Assisting in market research, industry trends, and competitor analysis to identify business opportunities.
- Working with different departments (finance, sales, logistics) to improve processes and efficiency.
- Preparing reports, dashboards, and presentations for the management and the French parent company.
- Supporting in forecasting and budgeting activities.
- Assisting in implementing and maintaining business intelligence tools.
- Ensuring data accuracy and consistency in business reporting.
- Supporting in project management activities
- Liaising with HQ in France and other subsidiaries
- Working with other teams if needs arise
PROFILE:
- Fluent French and English with strong communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or a related field (experience in the wine or beverage industry is a plus) as a Junior Business Analyst, or a Business Analyst or a Data Analyst
- Strong analytical skills and detail oriented.
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Understanding of financial reports and business metrics.
- Ability to work in a team and handle multiple tasks
- Passion or interest in the wine industry is a plus.

- Between £30k and £40k/y according to skills and experience
- Monthly Travelcard zone 1-3
