Our client, a Tier 1 Investment Bank, is seeking a Business Analyst to join their London team to support a Market Conduct programme focused on enhancing trader supervision and optimizing global trading controls. This is an initial 6-month contract with the likelihood of extension. The role requires 3 days in the office in the city.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements and objectives.
- Conduct detailed analysis of current practices and identify gaps.
- Document functional and technical requirements for enhancements or new implementations.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation of supervisory processes and workflows.
- Support project management activities and ensure alignment on project objectives.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices.
Skillset and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a strong focus on Market Conduct Supervision within Investment Banking.
- Extensive background in market conduct and market supervision projects, with a keen understanding of regulatory frameworks and their application.
- In-depth knowledge of market abuse regulations and their practical implementation in the context of market supervision.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to analyze and address issues related to market integrity and conduct risk.
- Demonstrated ethical awareness and a commitment to upholding market integrity through proactive supervision and regulatory compliance.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, across multiple regions to ensure market conduct standards are met.
