A well-known luxury retailer in the UK is seeking a Business Analyst specializing in Procurement and Finance for a 6-month contract.
The ideal candidate should have 2-3 years of experience working with Finance or Procurement systems and be skilled in process mapping and workflows.
The role involves addressing issues with a poorly implemented finance procurement system and requires collaboration with the procurement team and suppliers.
The position offers a day rate of £500, with 2 days per week in central London and 3 days working from home.
Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders for effective decision-making.

Method Resourcing have partnered with one of the UK's most well-known and established luxury retailers in their quest to find a Business Analyst specialising in Procurement/Finance to join them on their successful journey.

The role: The role involves addressing issues with the finance procurement system which was poorly implemented and is currently failing when transitioning from test to live environments. The purpose of the role is to work closely with the procurement team to map and analyse workflows, identify existing problems, and collaborate with the supplier through workshops. The aim is to develop a structured roadmap for improving system functionality and approval processes.

Ideal candidate experience:

Experience working with Finance or Procurement systems (Essential)
Experience of process mapping and work flows to improve related Finance or Procurement systems (Essential)
Experience of performing the role of business analyst on both projects using both a Waterfall and Agile
Experience of analysing business benefits and supporting the build of business
Proven ability to communicate with and influence senior stakeholders facilitating efficient decision making on projects
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with teams across the business and with other disciplines involved with the delivery of change

Contract:

Day rate: £500 Per Day
Contract: 6 months initially
Start: ASAP
IR35: Inside
Working pattern: 2 days per week into central London, the other 3 days WFH.
