My well established, FTSE 100 Client is urgently seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in finance systems and processes to join a dynamic team working on a large-scale Finance Transformation Project. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in redefining the financial operations of the organisation by improving systems, processes, and overall efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a liaison between finance teams and IT to analyse current finance systems and processes.
Gather, document, and translate business requirements into functional specifications.
Assist in the development and implementation of new finance systems and enhancements.
Perform gap analysis and identify opportunities for process improvements within the finance function.
Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather insights from key stakeholders.
Support the testing phase to ensure that solutions meet business needs and are implemented effectively.
Contribute to change management activities by providing training and guidance on new finance systems and processes.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely delivery and successful implementation of the transformation project.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within finance transformation projects.
Strong understanding of finance systems, processes, and accounting principles.
Experience working with finance teams to analyse and improve workflows and system usage.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and bridge the gap between business and technical stakeholders.
Experience with financial ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday) is highly desirable.
Familiarity with process mapping tools and methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Desirable:
Professional accounting qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or a strong understanding of finance operations.
Experience with system implementation or upgrade projects.
Knowledge of process improvement frameworks such as Lean or Six Sigma.
