BUSINESS ANALYST  A global technology company is looking for a Business Analyst to come and support the team for 6 months!  You will be working in a small but mighty team supporting global academics publish their research for the betterment of the world. You will be responsible for conducting thorough analysis of the current manual process, mapping out each step and identifying bottlenecks, redundancies, and inefficiencies and developing an automated solution for the business.  BUSINESS ANALYST ROLE:
  • Conducting a thorough analysis of the current manual process, mapping out each step and identifying bottlenecks, redundancies, and inefficiencies
  • Collaborating with process owners and stakeholders to understand business requirements, objectives, and challenges associated with the process
  • Working with stakeholders to gather detailed functional and technical requirements for the automation solution
  • Translating business needs into clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation for use by development teams
  • Developing a vision for the automated process that aligns with business goals and reduces the complexity of the current manual operations
  • Collaborating with IT and development teams to design, prototype, and validate automation solutions
  • Ensuring the solution is scalable, reliable, and integrates seamlessly with existing systems
  • Leading the project from inception to completion, managing timelines, resources, and stakeholder expectations
  • Creating and maintaining project documentation, including business cases, project plans, and status reports
  • Identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues that could impact the success of the project
  • Coordinating and leading user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the automated solution meets business requirements and quality standards
  • Overseeing the implementation and deployment of the automated process, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
  • Developing training materials and providing training to end-users to facilitate a smooth transition
  • Monitoring the performance of the automated process post-implementation, identifying areas for further optimization
  • Collecting feedback from stakeholders and end-users to refine and enhance the automation solution
  • Staying informed on emerging automation technologies and best practices to continuously improve processes
BUSINESS ANALYST ESSENTIALS:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience of analytics experience with a focus on process improvement and automation
  • Comprehensive experience of process mapping, modelling and implementing changes specifically with automation
  • Advanced understand of Google Sheets, Excel and knowledge of SQL
  • Experience Developing a vision for the automated process that aligns with business goals and reduces the complexity of the current manual operations
