Are you an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in post-merger integration and financial services? Our client, a leading interdealer broker, is seeking a highly skilled professional to support a high-impact rationalisation project. This role offers a 6-month rolling contract, requiring on-site presence in London for three days per week, and falls within IR35 regulations.

About the Client

Operating across various global markets, our client provides a comprehensive suite of brokerage services spanning Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange, Equities, Energy, Commodities, Shipping, and Futures. Their expertise extends to trade execution, clearing, trade compression, post-trade operations, and market intelligence, serving a wide range of financial and non-financial institutions.

Key Industry Experience:

  • Proven track record leading rationalisation projects, particularly within post-merger integration.
  • Experience within an Interdealer Broker, Broker Dealer, or Investment Bank (Front Office and/or Middle Office).
  • Understanding of trade execution models such as Matched Principal, Named Give-Up, and Exchange Give-Up.

Core Skills & Responsibilities:

  • Target State Analysis & Testing Leadership - Define and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) strategies.
  • Gap Analysis & Business Process Mapping - Assess business processes, establish regulatory traceability, and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Process Design & Re-Engineering - Apply business process modelling techniques (e.g., BPMN) to document and enhance workflows.
  • Stakeholder Engagement - Lead requirement elicitation with senior stakeholders, including C-Level executives.
  • Regulatory Interpretation - Analyse and interpret financial regulations, directives, and compliance recommendations.
  • Data Analysis & Insights - Work with large datasets to identify trends and tailor insights for different audiences.
  • Structured Analysis Techniques - Utilise UML, Use Cases, and decision tables to ensure clarity and completeness of requirements.
  • Project Artefact Creation - Develop comprehensive documentation, including Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Requirements Documents (FRD), and presentation materials.
