About the Role
My client, a well-established and forward-thinking insurance provider, is looking for a skilled Business Analyst to join their dynamic team based in London. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping strategic initiatives within a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
You will work across departments-technology, operations, underwriting, and product-to identify business needs, analyse complex processes, and deliver smart, scalable solutions that enhance performance and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with stakeholders to gather, define, and document business requirements
- Analyse existing workflows and recommend process improvements
- Conduct gap and impact analysis for new initiatives
- Translate business needs into technical specifications and collaborate with IT teams
- Support project delivery through testing, training, and documentation
- Track and report on KPIs, performance metrics, and project outcomes
- Drive continuous improvement across operations and systems
Required Experience/Skills
- 5+ years' experience working as a Business Analyst, ideally within the insurance or financial services sector
- Strong understanding of insurance processes, products, and regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in business analysis tools such as Excel, Visio, Jira, and BPMN
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project delivery frameworks
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a cross-functional team
