A growing business that helps people who are living with type 2 diabetes and obesity to reset their own health is looking for a Business Analyst who has strong experience in permanent roles, working with/delivering solutions to the NHS. Along with a salary of up to £60,000 per annum, you will receive a range of benefits including flexible working arrangements, contributory pension scheme, 25 days annual leave (excluding Bank Holidays) and share options.This role is split into two parts – functional requirements & medical device certification: Functional requirements:You will take responsibility for writing the stories and any detailed functional requirements thatare deemed necessary to sufficiently describe the development. You will decide (with the TA and Tech Leads) the scope of Stories such that they can be concisely defined and implemented in one Sprint cycle. You ensure that Stories tie together and are placed on the Backlog with current and postponed features, such that the integrity of the solution is maintained. Medical device certification:You will create and maintain documentation that describes the working of the product sufficient to meet Class 2A Medical Device Certification. They have an external specialist advisor who will steer them through the process, but only they can document their own platform. This is a large task, and we have set aside months of time to get the documentation started from zero. As Business Analyst, your responsibilities will include:
  • Working with the Product Team, the Technical Architects and Technical Leads to plan and design solutions
  • Contributes to the overall delivery of the Roczen platform
  • Ensures that functions of the platform are sufficiently well understand to guide developers and also to produce documentation
  • Ownership of the Medical Device documentation (functional aspects and general oversight)
We’re looking for a Business Analyst with:
  • Experience in permanent roles (due to the nature of this role, we aren’t looking for contractors)
  • Experience working with and/or delivering solutions to the NHS
  • Experience in working in Agile teams as developer or other role for several years
  • Experience working in some regulated field
  • Strong communication in written form
