Role Description: As a Business Analyst in the finance division, you will play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing financial reporting systems and data integrity. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and client-facing staff, to ensure seamless project execution and insightful business analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain financial models using Excel, incorporating advanced functions and macros.
Analyze monthly management information and participate in the creation of management accounts.
Oversee and advance the use of the SUN accounts system (v6).
Manage interfaces with related systems, including expense and timesheet applications.
Deliver monthly and ad hoc KPI reports and analyses.
Evaluate new system possibilities and spearhead implementation projects.
Collaborate with the IT team on digital transformation initiatives.
Provide training and support to users, ensuring adherence to best practices.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Demonstrated experience in a finance-focused Business Analyst role, preferably within professional services or recruitment.
Expert-level Excel skills (VBA and Macros).
Familiarity with SUN Systems and Vision reporting tools is beneficial.
Knowledge of SQL or other programming languages is a plus but not essential.
Strong problem-solving capabilities, with proactive and forward-thinking approaches.
Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders at various levels.
High standards of integrity and discretion, with an emphasis on accuracy and detail.
Project management experience and an accounting background are advantageous.
