You will join a successful international insurance company who specialise in commercial insurance and reinsurance products. My client is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join their newly formed strategic operations team to contribute to the execution of operating model improvement initiatives. You will play an integral role in documenting the current state and defining future state processes by understanding the data required across the business, defining the source for the data and designing a process around an improved, optimised user journey. As the Business Analyst, you will foster a culture of ongoing and sustainable change through the embedding of process reengineering and optimisation techniques.

Main responsibilities:

  • Evaluate existing and proposed business processes through the definition of best practices and standards
  • Document and evaluate current data availability and adequacy. Work with the business to determine what data is foundational and essential and where to plug any identified gaps
  • Help shape the company's change roadmap to support the Target Operating Model
  • Deliver better value and greater efficiency through identification and elimination of unnecessary complexities within business processes
  • Elicit requirements and drive process change

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of defining and delivering complex optimisation initiatives
  • Strong experience of understanding the relationships, dependencies and impacts of change on multiple systems, teams and processes
  • Process reengineering and/or data modelling BA experience
  • Extensive London Market/General Reinsurance business analysis experience
  • Experience working in a large organisation (preferably multi-national)
  • French and German speaking (Desirable)
