Currently seeking a proactive and dedicated Business Analyst (Non-Techincal experience) to join a leading construction company. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in business administration or related fields, who is keen to apply their analytical prowess to drive operational improvements and strategic decision-making. Ideal candidate MUST HAVE 2 years+ of experience in a business analyst or consultancy role within the construction or civil engineering Industry
Day-to-day of the role:- Conduct comprehensive analysis of non-technical business processes and operational data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather and document business requirements, ensuring clear communication and effective solution implementation.
- Develop, implement, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the efficiency of business operations and suggest necessary adjustments.
- Provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations to support long-term business planning and project prioritisation.
- Work closely with project management offices (PMOs) to uphold project management methodologies and standards.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports and dashboards to senior management, highlighting progress and any critical issues.
- Proactively identify potential risks and collaborate with the PMO to develop and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of presenting complex data in an understandable format.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in a business analyst or consultancy role within the construction or civil engineering sector.
- Proficient in using data analysis and reporting tools such as Excel and Power BI.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and standards; knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, PMBOK is advantageous.
- Analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMP, or PRINCE2 are beneficial but not essential.
