Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Business Objects Report Writer with expertise in Pentaho and CMDB to join a dynamic team within the financial services sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating and managing reports in Business Objects, as well as hands-on experience working with Pentaho and CMDB systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Business Objects reports for internal stakeholders, ensuring high-quality and accurate data presentation.
- Work closely with business users to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective report solutions.
- Leverage Pentaho and CMDB to gather and analyse data, producing actionable insights.
- Collaborate with technical teams to integrate data from various sources and maintain accurate reporting structures.
- Ensure reports are aligned with industry standards and regulations specific to financial services.
- Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for report-related issues.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Strong experience working with Business Objects for report writing and data analysis.
- Hands-on experience with Pentaho and CMDB (Configuration Management Database) tools.
- Solid background in the financial services industry, with an understanding of regulatory requirements and data compliance.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into data-driven reporting solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Skills:
- Familiarity with additional reporting tools and data visualisation platforms.
- Experience with data integration and ETL processes.
- Knowledge of financial systems and data structures within the financial services industry.
