Position: Commercial Pricing AnalystCompany: International Shipping CompanyLocation: Office-based (with 1 day WFH permitted after 6 months probation is passed)Salary: £35,000 - £40,000Employment Type: Permanent (Mon-Fri 9/5.30pm)Language Requirement: French-speaking (Beneficial)Benefits: Excellent benefits package and bi-annual bonus
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement pricing strategies for various global markets.
- Analyse market trends and competitor pricing to optimize our pricing models.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to support pricing decisions.
- Prepare detailed pricing reports and forecasts.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of pricing strategies.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve profitability.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in pricing analysis, preferably in the shipping industry.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Proficiency in French (both written and spoken) - Beneficial though not essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Shipping Market trends and rates.
