This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional to contribute to an organisation dedicated to maintaining the highest standards in healthcare regulation and ensuring public safety.Job Title: Contract and Quality ManagerSalary: £40,000 - £45,000Job Type: PermanentHours Per Week: Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:00Working Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days onsite in Stratford, 2 days home-based)Location: StratfordRole Overview:As the Contract and Quality Manager, you will play a critical role in managing contracts and relationships with third-party suppliers to ensure the effective delivery of the Test of Competence. Your expertise will ensure that the test meets the highest standards of quality and integrity, while overseeing supplier performance and managing processes for test content development and refresh cycles. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, you will ensure that test delivery is aligned with the organisation's objectives and regulatory standards.Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full contract lifecycle for testing services, including sourcing, negotiation, implementation, and ongoing management of suppliers.
  • Oversee supplier performance and ensure cost-effective, high-quality service delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve procurement processes and ensure compliance with the organisation's standards.
  • Support the Head of Testing Services in managing the Test of Competence, including the development and maintenance of test content and security measures.
  • Provide detailed reports and management information on testing services for internal and external stakeholders, including government bodies and healthcare regulators.
  • Build strong supplier relationships, ensuring effective communication and resolution of contract-related issues.
  • Lead risk management strategies to mitigate potential disruptions to service delivery.
  • Deputise for the Head of Testing Services when required, providing subject matter expertise to internal and external audiences.

Person Specification:

  • Significant contract management experience in a similar setting (Essential).
  • Experience managing data, including supplier performance against contracts, and preparing reports for senior management (Essential).
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with experience engaging with diverse internal and external stakeholders (Essential).
  • Ability to work independently, balancing competing priorities and driving results (Essential).
  • Experience in healthcare regulation and the education sector (Desirable).
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools (Essential).
  • Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to positively influence others (Essential).
  • Experience managing suppliers and promoting consistent corporate approaches to service delivery (Desirable).
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
