Development Manager needed in West London Paying  £274.38 per hr ref 005243

Full time hours on a temporary basis

We are seeking an experienced Development Manager to oversee complex development projects, delivering new homes and community infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage pre-contract and post-contract development projects (RIBA stages 1-7).

  • Develop options for regeneration, including housing and mixed-use developments.

  • Liaise with internal departments to incorporate corporate objectives into designs.

  • Lead procurement and post-contract design services.

  • Secure planning approvals and discharge planning conditions.

  • Supervise consultations and engagement with residents.

  • Monitor project milestones, financial targets, and consultant performance.

  • Coordinate project teams, including consultants and developers.

  • Maximize benefits from land and asset redevelopment.

  • Ensure compliance with statutory and legislative requirements.

  • Work flexibly across locations and attend meetings as needed.

  • Visit building sites and manage project handover.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in managing development projects from pre-contract to post-contract.

  • Strong organisational and communication skills.

  • Knowledge of design, procurement, and construction best practices.

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and consultation abilities.
