Key Responsibilities
- Implement a comprehensive procurement strategy to maximise efficiency and productivity
- Act as a subject matter expert in supplier and client contract management
- Conduct market analysis, strategic supplier sourcing, and tender document development
- Lead complex pricing and contract negotiations, ensuring compliant tendering processes
- Draft and amend commercial contract terms, manage approval processes, and oversee supplier onboarding/offboarding
- Track and report contract benefits, ensuring they are realised
- Implement and manage a dynamic supplier tiering structure based on performance
- Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and manage supplier relationships
Key Skills & Experience
- CIPS qualification (desired but not essential)
- Strong understanding of indirect procurement, contract management, and supplier performance management
- Experience with technology platforms and reverse auctions
- Ability to develop and manage senior stakeholder and supplier relationships
- Agile and adaptive, with excellent problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with VMS systems (advantageous)
