Broadgate are proud to be partnered with the global energy supplier, who are looking to expand their Hedging Strategy and Operations team. The business unit is centred around helping the UK achieve Net Zero. You will gain exposure to a range of markets including residential, corporate, nuclear, renewables and thermal generation.

The is based in London, however, remote working can also be accommodated.

About the Role:

  • Developing and implementing hedging strategies.
  • Evaluating movements in positions and understanding why they have occurred, in the context of the hedging strategies that are applied.

  • Working with key stakeholders across the organisation to ensure a current and clear understanding of their strategic priorities and hedging requirements.

  • Reviewing the performance of hedging activity to drive insight, improve commercial value and provide visibility of the team's activities.

  • Producing reports that are clear, accurate and provide insight on performance, exposures, and risks.

About You:

  • Highly analytical mindset
  • Competent in Excel

  • Ability to deal with large quantities of data in a timely fashion.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Enthusiasm to learn and develop.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
