Protiviti are seeking an experienced Interim Business Analyst/Project Manager (BA/PM) to join a global banking client, focusing on their commodities trading and operations. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to lead and shape strategic projects within a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects in banking, with specific experience in commodities markets (oil, gas, metals, agricultural products). The role requires a blend of business analysis, project management, and industry expertise to bridge the gap between technical and business teams, ensuring the delivery of critical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage multiple projects related to commodities trading, risk management, and operations.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyse business requirements.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams, senior management, and external stakeholders.
  • Analyse existing processes and recommend improvements for efficiency, cost-saving, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor project progress, report on KPIs, and manage risks and issues proactively.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst and/or Project Manager in global banking.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in commodities trading (oil, gas, metals, agricultural products).
  • Experience managing full project lifecycles, from inception to delivery.
  • Ability to bridge technical and business teams, translating business needs into actionable solutions.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with experience working with global teams.
  • Knowledge of financial and regulatory environments related to commodities markets.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
