Venn Group is working with a London based Local Authority to recruit an Interim Business Analyst, to join a multi-disciplinary team responsible for capturing, developing and delivering user requirements. The role will have responsibility for enabling digital, data and technology change, defining needs and recommending solutions that will deliver value for council departments. The Interim Business Analyst will play a key part in mapping and designing new processes, developing and delivering user research, customer journeys, resource requirements, design technology requirements, workflows and information flows.

Responsibilities of the Interim Business Analyst:

  • Plan and execute business analysis approaches, including governance and information management
  • Identify and recommend new digital, data, and technology solutions
  • Shape and define well-scoped projects, ready for handover to delivery teams
  • Specify business and user requirements to support the implementation of changes
  • Coordinate the analysis, prioritisation, and implementation of improvements
  • Champion automation and process improvement initiatives, assessing costs and benefits
  • Facilitate workshops and manage customer and supplier relationships

Essential Requirements of the Interim Business Analyst:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems and articulate clear business requirements
  • Experience in digital transformation, process improvement, and stakeholder management in a Local Authority setting
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with diverse teams

Rate: £400 umbrella
