Blakemore Recruitment are currently recruiting for Junior Paraplanner on behalf of out award winning Financial Advisory firm in London.

The ideal candidate will be Level 4 qualified or very close to and has experience in a Trainee Paraplanning role.

You will be working as part of a productive, high performing team to provide full support to the Paraplanners within the Advice Delivery Team. You will work alongside a Paraplanner on specific cases throughout the advice process, assisting in conducting research where appropriate.

Responsibilities;

Letter of Authority (LOA) Sending/Monitoring/Chasing

• Sending LOAs to providers and monitoring progress of recent LOA submissions andobtaining plan information.

Research

• Providing high quality research and administrative support to the Paraplanners. This willbe achieved by contacting providers to obtain and compile accurate policyinformation.

• Recording policy information accurately into Provider Information Forms and Curo.

• Undertaking research for asset allocation on existing client portfolios using FEAnalyticsand our in-house research tools.

• Undertaking whole-of-market research for protection and annuity quotes.

• Preparing pension illustrations.

• Conduct pension transfer analysis using SelectaPension

Other Responsibilities

• Speaking regularly with advisers, Paraplanners and CSAs to keep them up to date withadvice in the pipeline.

• Building strong and effective working relationships with other teams in the firm and third-party product providers.

• Ensuring that all client records and data are maintained accurately.

• Constructing model portfolios as required on relevant platforms.

• Opportunity to draft simple advice letters and prepare tax calculations (outside of CGT)under supervision from a Paraplanner Manager.

• There will be the opportunity to take part in projects on an ad-hoc basis as required bythe business.

The ideal candidate would already be in a Junior Paraplanning role.
