Portfolio Product Analyst

We are currently hiring for a Portfolio Product Analyst with ERGC experience to join one of our Insurance clients on a 6-month contract.

Hybrid- 2 days a week onsite

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the product owner in understanding the business needs and goals and articulating in order to progress delivery
  • Conduct analysis work to identify to be future state operating models through process and technology and understand current state processes
  • Facilitate workshops to elaborate Epics and capture and document user story mapping and user stories
  • Actively manage backlog stories with product owner ensuring prioritisation
  • Work with stakeholders to identify and document non functional requirements as user stories
  • Ensure refinement of stories is taking place at appropriate time to feed backlog
  • Contribute to project as required to develop proposals, requirements, or another project documentation
  • Elicit further requirements and test / challenge assumptions using a variety of methods including interviews, document analysis, workshops, and business process descriptions
  • Identify the relationships, dependencies and impacts of change on multiple systems and processes
  • Stakeholder management - support the product owner to interact with all levels of management, obtain buy in and sign off and manage expectations
  • Work effectively as part of a project team alongside the Product Owner, Scrum master and delivery team and actively participate in sprint ceremonies.
  • Supports creating and maintaining the backlog (including prioritisation and acceptance criteria)

Skills and Experience

  • Experience with data governance, integrity, lineage & management
  • Experience with complex business requirements and interdependencies
  • Experience shaping global operating models/frameworks and ensuring their effective adoption
  • Experience of working on a Regulatory, Risk, Legal, or Group Functions change function
  • Experience of working with both agile and waterfall methodologies
  • Business/Product analysis experience and knowledge of business analysis methodologies
  • Track record of building & implementing global frameworks
  • BPMN or similar business process modelling skills
  • Experience with EGRC and associated processes, governance etc
  • Experience with OpenPages deployments & its wider feature set
