An up-and-coming insurance company in the UK is expanding their pricing function and hiring 2 pricing analysts. This role is an excellent opportunity to get help the business grow and make an impact on pricing strategy and decisions.
THE COMPANY
This business provides a specific personal lines insurance product that has a particular target market and in turn has allowed them to grow their customer base well over the past few years by 30%. The pricing function is a small function with a good balance of leadership. They provide a wide scoping role and great exposure to senior experts in the market.
THE ROLE
You can expect to be involved in the following day to day:
- Provide insight from data into pricing strategies
- Working with data team to understand what data is going into the pricing models
- Either work on aggregator or renewals analytics
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience in tools such as SAS, Python, R, SQL, Excel, VBA, Emblem, Radar, Earnix
- Experience working in pricing analytics in insurance
- Good communication skills
- A strong university degree
