Reed.co.uk is looking for a Pricing Analyst to join their Finance Team in Holborn, London.

Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced and strategic Pricing Analyst to join our dynamic team and help shape our pricing and commercial strategy.

As a Pricing Analyst, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing the pricing strategies for new products and propositions. You will be responsible for analysing customer behavior, running experiments, and ensuring our pricing is aligned with the broader commercial goals of the business.

Key Responsibilities

Pricing Strategy:

  • Assist in the development and execution of various pricing programmes to support business decisions.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor pricing to inform competitive pricing strategies.
  • Automate and update pricing tools, ensuring their accuracy and efficiency.
  • Monitor the performance of pricing strategies and products, providing recommendations for improvements.
  • Work closely with Commercial, Product, Marketing, and Finance teams to balance sales goals with customer satisfaction and ensure alignment with business strategy.

Commercial Strategy:

  • Track key performance metrics such as churn, growth, and shrinkage across retention and acquisition channels.
  • Perform in-depth analysis of sales and customer data to uncover trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Estimate potential growth at an account level.
  • Assist with periodic sales targeting, considering renewals and relevant metrics.
  • Support the Commercial Team with bonus calculations and Ad Hoc analysis.

Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in pricing analysis or a related field.
  • Strong ability to think strategically, analyse large datasets, and solve complex problems.
  • Proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams and influencing key business decisions.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Google Workspace apps, Looker, SQL, and database interrogation; experience with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Excellent organisational skills and project management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights.
