Arthur is supporting a speciality insurance provider that operates within the Lloyds Market. The focus is P&C lines, however they also underwrite business gloabbly acorss marine, aviation, and other high-risk sectors.This role offers the chance to be a key player in transforming the pricing function, and as the Pricing Lead, you will drive the execution of pricing strategies, build cutting-edge analytical models, and apply innovative data sources to improve risk assessment and underwriting decisions.Key Responsibilities
  • Design and build analytical models to enhance underwriting and risk assessment.
  • Identify and apply innovative data sources to support better underwriting decisions.
  • Collaborate with underwriting, senior leadership, and actuarial teams to implement business strategies.
  • Build and deploy pricing models, conduct profitability and segmentation analyses, and support portfolio management.
  • Maintain strong relationships with underwriting teams and provide support to other team members as needed.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong experience with data analysis and model building (SQL, Python, or R).
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative or computational field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Ability to work with large data sets and derive actionable insights.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for driving innovation in a fast-paced environment
