Transform Complex Change Programs at Leading Firm

Position Overview

An exciting opportunity for a Principal Business Analyst at a global financial solutions and technology firm to join their growing EMEA Client Delivery & Organisational Transformation team. You'll drive complex change programmes across new client onboarding, corporate transformation, regulatory change, and operational optimization initiatives. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to shape the future of change within our organization, with flexibility to work from our UK offices in Basildon or London.

Your Impact

As a Principal Business Analyst, you'll bring deep analytical expertise and industry knowledge to our team. You'll work alongside Product Managers and Solution Architects from the earliest stages of client engagement, ensuring our solutions are both innovative and perfectly aligned with client needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery and due diligence phases for new programs, establishing robust analytical foundations
  • Manage complex program analysis workstreams, including capacity planning, scoping, and team leadership
  • Drive stakeholder engagement through confident meeting facilitation and presentation
  • Partner with Product, Architecture, and Delivery teams to create client-centric solutions
  • Oversee detailed solution design development and implementation
  • Coordinate with Business Readiness teams to ensure smooth operational change
  • Deliver outcome-based progress reporting
  • Serve as an industry expert, staying current with trends and regulations
  • Mentor junior Business Analysts and contribute to BA Practice advancement

Required Qualifications

  • Extensive senior-level analysis experience across multiple frameworks (Waterfall, Agile, SAFe)
  • Outstanding stakeholder management skills, including client-facing experience
  • Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal
  • Proven change leadership and team motivation capabilities
  • Self-driven with strong ownership mentality
  • Natural curiosity and innovation mindset
  • Adaptable approach to changing business demands
  • Commitment to quality and excellence

Preferred Qualification

  • Degree in Business, IT, or related field
  • Professional BA certifications (BCS, IIBA, ISEB, CBAP)
  • Financial services experience, particularly in: Life & Pensions Wealth Management Fund Administration Asset Management
  • Experience with global stakeholder management
  • Previous people management and mentoring experience
