Location: London, SE5

Role Objective: To support the project and programme management activities the project (future process and systems landscape, including SAP, Work Manager, CRM and SRM upgrades/replacements)

Key Accountabilities:

  • Project coordination and tracking of project activities
  • Working closely with the Project Delivery Lead to ensure successful programme management and track benefit realisation.
  • Creation of accurate reports on all elements of the improvement project pipeline including the preparation of PowerPoint briefing packs for consumption by the Executive teams.
  • Ensuring project documentation is completed to the required standard and maintaining an auditable library of all approval documents and other relevant improvement project documentation.
  • Maintaining a central repository of key data relating to the portfolio, to enable analysis and trade-off decisions at a strategic level
  • Servicing meetings including, collating and distributing meeting packs, production and issuing of agendas, minutes and action logs
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures
  • Central document management for all project outputs and deliverables

Experience & Capabilities: 

  • Knowledge and experience of Portfolio Management / Programme Office methodologies / best practice
  • Knowledge of risk management processes
  • Excellent communication skills, with particular emphasis on the production of written/graphical reports suitable for senior management
  • High degree of numeric competency
  • Good knowledge Microsoft Office and extensive experience of using Excel, PowerPoint. Understanding of the terminology used within the electrical distribution industry would be an advantage
  • Strong PC skills – MS office (essential), MS project (essential), Visio (desirable though not essential)
  • Understanding of stakeholder management methodologies and techniques
  • Able to sell ideas to project teams and managers
  • Good communication skills and customer-oriented
  • Strong conceptual thinker
