Job Title: Quality Manager / Quality Management Officer Overview:

Are you passionate about standards, compliance and business management/process improvement? Then developing your career within quality management and ISO standards? Join our team as a Quality Manager and play a vital role in driving compliance and continuous improvement within our organization. This is an exciting opportunity for candidates with (graduates or experienced) with knowledge and ideally some practical work experience in quality management systems, quality management compliance and specifically ISO9001. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, develop, and ensure compliance with the Quality Management Policy and System.

  • Promote and monitor the Quality Management System to maintain ISO9001 compliance.

  • Contribute to the delivery of ISO Audit programs for Business Continuity, Information Security, Environmental Standards, and Health and Safety under corporate guidance.

  • Implement and coordinate an annual program of quality assessments to align procedures with practice, identify efficiencies, and support continuous improvement.

  • Develop systems to track audits, maintain updated information and report Non-Conformities, Corrective Actions, and opportunities for Performance Improvement to management teams.

  • Identify quality-related training needs, recommend appropriate interventions, and support the Learning and Development Strategy.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Quality management or risk management experience preferred but also will consider graduates ideally with some practical work experience.

  • Knowledge of ISO standards specifically ISO9001.

  • Some practical experience in supporting or implementing ISO audits and maintaining ISO-compliant processes and systems.

  • Strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build successful working relationships at all levels.

  • Exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and time management.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and database systems.

  • Flexibility to travel to work locations at different sites across the UK with occasional overnight stays.

  • Full right to work and remain in the UK. 

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Project management training, certifications or experience

  • Experience in operational change management or process improvement.

  • Familiarity with contract environments.

  • Knowledge of issues related to vulnerable service users.
