Our client is seeking a dynamic and motivated Regulatory Change Business Analyst with a keen focus on the Fundamental Review of the Trading Book (FRTB) regulations. Join a vibrant team dedicated to ensuring compliance and driving strategic improvements within the Finance Change team.

Purpose of the Role:

In this pivotal role, you will manage the implementation of changes in the regulatory reporting area, specifically addressing the new B3.1 and CRR3 regulations governing Market Risk. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading project tasks and workstreams to ensure timely delivery of regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinating with stakeholders, managing risks and issues, and maintaining transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Documenting business requirements for IT teams and participating in testing developments.

What You Bring:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Essential Skills:

  • A good understanding of Regulatory Capital regulations in EMEA, with Experience in the Market Risk regulations (FRTB) is essential.
  • Proven experience in regulatory analysis to front and middle office.Strong background in investment banking and Banking Products.
  • Experience in producing business requirements in liaison with Regulatory reporting teams.
  • Needs to be as functionally knowledgeable as the software supplier business experts to be able to engage in discussions and provide meaningful analysis to them, including bug fixing / testing.
  • Experience to work with product stakeholders, business stakeholders, testing and delivered the solution.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, and reporting query software.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Drive the implementation of regulatory changes impacting EMEA reporting, focusing on capital reporting.
  • Identify and pursue process improvements, emphasising automation and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive understanding and documentation of requirements.
