About the position of Senior Business Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to become a key member of our client's Proposition & Delivery team. You will manage complex business analysis tasks that align with the company's commercial strategies. You will act as a critical link between business and IT, defining requirements, performing impact assessments, mapping processes, and collaborating with stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs). Your work will be instrumental in shaping and implementing both new and ongoing initiatives throughout the organisation.

Responsibilities for the position of Senior Business Analyst

Lead business analysis activities, including requirements definition, impact assessments, and data analysis.
Facilitate workshops to gather and document requirements, ensuring alignment between business and IT teams.
Engage with stakeholders to validate and manage requirements, ensuring traceability and alignment with business benefits.
Support the development of business cases, process improvements, and documentation of new changes.
Mentor and guide business analysts, promoting high-quality standards and professional growth.
Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to shape initiatives and deliver business objectives effectively.
Champion continuous improvement and risk management, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Experience required for the position of Senior Business Analyst

Proven experience in business analysis, with the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable technical solutions.
Strong understanding of business process modelling, project management fundamentals, and Agile methodology.
Experience in stakeholder management and influencing at all levels.
Proficient in data analysis with a solid technical background to support IT solutions.
A proactive and positive mindset, with the ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Strong leadership, mentoring, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster a collaborative environment.
Relevant Business Analysis qualification or equivalent experience is desirable.
The ideal candidate will have worked for a Financial services or mortgage lending related business
