Senior Business Analysts - Banking and Financial Services - London/hybrid - up to £85k basic
The ideal Business Analyst will have:
Experience of trading lifecycles, both order placement and RFQ pricingFX, Rates, Credit are primary lines of businessExposure to technical aspects of trading - FIX protocol being a major benefitData analysis skills - SQL, KDB/Q, Excel functionsExcellent communication skillsManaging internal and external stakeholders
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 12 years of experience in banking or financial consulting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and presentation abilities, and proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with senior executives
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Six Sigma Black Belt, PMP, or similar are a plus.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, overseeing complex consulting engagements, and positioning the organization as a trusted partner for digital transformation initiatives
Key Responsibilities:
Business Analysis/Consulting Delivery
- Lead the delivery of complex client's business and technology transformation programs, ensuring high-quality outcomes and alignment with client objectives.
- Oversee process consulting initiatives to analyze, redesign, and enhance end-to-end business processes.
- Collaborate with clients to define and execute operations consulting projects, driving efficiency, cost savings, and business transformation.
- Manage project teams, ensuring resource optimization, client satisfaction, and delivery excellence.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing thought leadership on industry best practices and emerging technologies.
Leadership and Collaboration
Strategic Planning: Lead the development and implementation of strategic plans to enhance client banking operations and profitability.
- Market Analysis: Monitor economic trends and market changes to provide clients with up-to-date advice and recommendations.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of banking consultants, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Compliance: Ensure all consulting activities comply with industry regulations and internal policies.
- Thought Leadership: Contribute to the development of thought leadership materials, including white papers and industry reports.
Domain Knowledge: Prior experience in the Banking space covering a few departments that may include Retail Banking, Wealth Management, Credit Cards, Payments, Corporate Banking, Treasury, Securities Services, Trade Services, Factoring etc
