A well-known digital entertainment business is seeking a Senior Business Planning Analyst to join its high-profile team. This team plays a critical role in driving accountability for business performance by delivering data-driven insights, forecasting, and planning to support strategic decision-making.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with senior managers and non-finance colleagues, taking ownership of designing and implementing sophisticated forecasting models. These models will provide actionable business recommendations, identify potential risks and opportunities, and ensure forecast accuracy.

Key responsibilities include building, running, and maintaining forecasting models, analysing sales trends, and clearly communicating revenue forecasts to senior stakeholders. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, driving data-informed discussions and articulating trends, risks, and opportunities. Additionally, you will support the implementation of planning tools, working collaboratively with your team to streamline processes, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

You will also play an important role in mentoring junior team members, sharing best practices, and ensuring effective stakeholder management.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with a proven track record in revenue forecasting within a commercial finance team. Strong analytical and financial modelling skills are essential, alongside excellent communication abilities and a highly organized approach. Experience with tools such as SQL, Tableau, Domo, and Excel (including VBA and Macros) is desirable, as is familiarity with planning software like Board, IBM, or Oracle.
