MLC Partners are working with a prestigious university in Central London on a Senior Change Manager role. We are open to speaking with both interim and FTC candidates for this pivitol role.

The Senior Change Manager will be responsible for delivering:

  • Effective transformation by enhancing staff awareness and engagement, ensuring change management plans are integrated into broader project and programme planning.
  • Developing change management plans, including impact assessments, sponsor roadmaps, and resistance and communications plans.
  • Providing coaching and guidance to sponsors throughout the stages of change.
  • Promoting university-wide awareness and capability in change management by collaborating closely with the Associate Director of Change Management, and contributing to the wider university change community of practice and Transformation Network.
  • Offering change management training, coaching, tools, and consultation across the institution.

Delivery of Change Management for Strategic Transformation Initiatives:

  • Preparing and executing change management activities for assigned transformation projects.
  • Identifying and managing risks and issues related to change management, contributing to appropriate mitigations.
  • Engaging with stakeholders to pinpoint areas of resistance and assess stakeholder readiness for change.
  • Providing advice and coaching to project managers, teams, and sponsors on their roles in successfully delivering change.
  • Actively engaging with diverse stakeholders across the institution, fostering strong relationships.

Change Service Delivery:

  • Supporting the Head of Change in building change management capability across the institution through training, coaching, tools, and advice.
  • Continuously driving effective change management across the organisation, particularly through the transformation network and change community of practice.
  • Providing expert advice and acting as a champion for change management and best practice approaches throughout the university.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across transformation and the directorate, leveraging external expertise and skills as necessary to ensure project success. Additionally, contributing to the development of team, directorate, and organisational capabilities.
  • Leading the development and implementation of change communications.
